Scott will be matched up against Boston's Jeff Green. Atlanta started Lou Williams and slid Kyle Korver to the small forward position in Sunday's loss to the Magic. This move keeps Korver at shooting guard and gets a little more size into the starting lineup.
Scott has performed well of the bench this season and is averaging 7.1 points and 3.0 rebounds. Atlanta will need a good defensive effort from him today.
DeMarre Carroll started the first 30 games of the season at small forward for the Hawks but suffered a sprained thumb in last week's win at Cleveland. Carroll returned for the Hawks matchup with Charlotte on Saturday but struggled with the injury and did not travel with the team on its current two-game road trip. Carroll is currently listed as day-to-day.
