Mike Muscala, Rio Natura Monbus suffer pair of tough losses

Mike Muscala and Rio Natura Monbus suffered a couple of tough losses this week in the Liga Endesa dropping their record on the season to 4-9.

Blancos de Rueda Valladolid 77, Rio Natura Monbus 73

Mike Muscala finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds but Rio Natura Monbus suffered a 77-73 loss to Blancos de Rueda Valladolid 77-73 on Friday. Muscala hit 7-16 field goal attempts and was 5-7 at the free throw line. Mario Delas added 19 points for Monbus while Alberto Corbacho had 10. Danilo Andjusic and Jason Crowe added 17 points each for Valladolid.

Laboral Kutxa 94, Rio Natura Monbus 92

A tough shooting third quarter proved costly for Rio Natura Monbus as they suffer a tough 94-92 loss to Laboral Kutxa. Alberto Corbacho led Monbus with 31 points while Nick Minnerath added 17. Mike Muscala finished with 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Laboral Kutxa was led by former NBA vet Andres Nocioni's 26 points.
