Hawks recall Jared Cunningham from D-League

Jared Cunningham has been recalled by the Atlanta Hawks from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League. Cunningham will be in uniform and available for tonight's game in Orlando.

Cunningham's latest stint in Bakersfield lasted three games and saw much better results than the first go around. He logged a double-double in last night's Bakersfield win finishing with 25 points and 10 assists. In eight games in the D-League he is averaging 18.1 points, 5.4 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals.

With DeMarre Carroll out for the roadtrip, Cunningham was likely recalled to provide emergency depth should the Hawks need to go deep into their bench. Mike Budenholzer has deployed several three-guard lineups of late.

Cunningham has appeared in three games for the Hawks this season and has yet to attempt a field goal.
