Jared Cunningham recorded a double-double in Bakersfield's 115-93 win on Saturday against Santa Cruz.

Jared Cunningham's second D-League stint has gone much better than his first this season. Cunningham scored a game-high 25 points to go along with 10 assists as the Bakersfield Jam extended their winning streak to three games with a 115-93 win over Santa Cruz.

Cunningham hit 9-12 shots including 4-5 from three-point range. He added five rebounds, three steals and two blocks but did turn the ball over six times. Damion James added 22 while Jon Nunnally chipped in 19. Cameron Jones led the Warriors with 20 points while William Buford added 17 off the bench.

Cunningham is averaging a little over 23 points and a little over six assists per game during his latest assignment. He has totaled 18 assists in his last two games.

Cunningham's season numbers are improving as well. He is up to 18.1 points per game but it is his shooting percentages that are really on the rise. He's up to 41 percent shooting from the field which might still seem low but you must consider that he was shooting 29 percent at the end of his first five game assignment. He is up to 39 percent from three-point range and is still knocking down free throws at an 81 percent clip.

The Jam and the Warriors battle again on Sunday with tip off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
