The injury list is getting long for the Atlanta Hawks as Al Horford joins the walking wounded with a shoulder injury. Horford left during the first overtime of Thursday's matchup with the Cavaliers after he was involved in a scramble for the ball with Cleveland's Anderson Varejao.
The Hawks were forced to take a timeout on the play and Horford was seen in pain on the sidelines before heading back to the locker room. The team later confirmed that it was a shoulder injury and that he would not return. Obviously the severity of the injury isn't known.
Horford was huge for the Hawks while he was in there finishing with 25 points and eight rebounds. Atlanta is off on Friday and Horford is likely to be reexamined once the team returns to Atlanta.
