Kyle Korver streak extends to 87 games, two to go to tie the record

Kyle Korver extended his consecutive games streak with a made three to 87 games with a first quarter three against the Boston Celtics at Philips Arena Saturday night.

Kyle Korver nailed a three-pointer in the early minutes of the Hawks 94-87 loss to the Boston Celtics Saturday night at home in Philips Arena, extending his three-point game streak to 87, two behind the all-time record set by Dana Barros.

It was a good thing Korver hit his shot early, because it was his only three of the night and he only attempted two for the game, as the Celtics chased him all over the court, including Gerald Wallace posing as a sweater over Kyle in the fourth quarter at times.

Korver's next game will be on the 26th at home against the Orlando Magic. Then the Hawks travel to Houston the next night (27th) and if the streak is still in tact at that point, he will have tied Barros' record and be poised to break it at home against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, November 29th.
