The Atlanta Hawks look to sweep a home-and-home set against the Detroit Pistons when the the two teams meet again Friday night this time in Detroit. The Hawks defeated the Pistons 93-85 on Wednesday in Josh Smith's return to Philips Arena for the first time since signing with Detroit over the summer.

Smith got a lukewarm reception from the Atlanta crowd but won't have to worry about those things on Friday. Detroit will need a better performance out of its prized free agent acquisition who finished with 11 points on 5-15 shooting. Interestingly Smith was 5-6 on his attempts from the paint and 0-9 from everywhere else which is exactly one of his problems while with the Hawks.

Atlanta's two free agent signings had stellar outings against the Pistons on Wednesday and the Hawks will be looking for more of the same from Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll.

Millsap scored 19 points on 8-14 shooting and sat out the fourth quarter in his first game back from an elbow injury. He downplayed the comparisons between Smith and himself following Wednesday's game.

"I'm not Josh Smith. It didn't faze me at all. It wasn't about me. It's not about me."

Carroll was matched with Smith for most of Wednesday's game and recorded a double-double with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.

Lou Williams scored six points and handed out five assists on Wednesday but will not play on Friday due to the back-to-back situation. The Hawks return home on Saturday to face the Celtics and Williams is expected to be back in uniform for that matchup.

Tip off from the Palace of Auburn Hills is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The game can be seen on SportSouth and heard on the Hawks' flagship radio station 92.9 FM "The Game."
