Blusens Monbus dropped to 0-3 on Saturday with an 86-82 loss to CAI Zaragoza. Mike Muscala continued his solid showing at the Liga Endesa as he once again led the way for Blusens Monbus with 19 points and seven rebounds.
CAI Zaragoza jumped out to an early lead but Blusens Monbus stormed back with a strong third quarter. However, their comeback fell a little short as CAI Zaragoza was able to hold them off in the fourth quarter.
Muscala converted on 3-of-8 field goal attempts and was a sterling 13-of-14 from the free throw line. As a team, Blusens Monbus converted 21-of-26 which allowed them to stay in the game.
In three games at the Liga Endesa, Muscala is now averaging 17.0 points and 7.3 rebounds on 45% shooting from the field. He has converted 23-of-25 or 92 percent of his free throw attempts.
Muscala and Blusens Monbus will be back in action on November 2 when they host Fuenlabrada.
