The Atlanta Hawks will be without forward Paul Millsap for the remainder of the preseason due to a sore Achilles. Millsap left Sunday's game against the Grizzlies midway through the third quarter and did not return. Coach Budenholzer indicated that they would be cautious in regards to Millsap's status:
"I think we are going to be conservative and cautious and give him the next couple days off," coach Mike Budenholzer said. "Just let him rehab and rest and make sure he's feeling really good going into the season."
Millsap said that the injury wasn't serious and that he had been dealing with the soreness prior to Sunday's game. Elton Brand will start at center in tonight's game against the Indiana Pacers with Al Horford sliding over to the power forward position.
The Hawks did get a bit of good news as John Jenkins will make his preseason debut tonight after sitting out the first five games of the preseason due to a back injury.
