Paul Millsap injury: Hawks forward nursing sore Achilles

Paul Millsap hasn't been ruled out of Tuesday's preseason matchup against the Indiana Pacers despite leaving Sunday's game with a sore Achilles.

Paul Millsap left Sunday's game midway through the third quarter due to a sore Achilles and did not return. He spent the latter part of practice on Monday at the training table with ice on his foot but he has yet to be ruled out for Tuesday's preseason game against the Indiana Pacers according to head coach Mike Budenholzer.

"We will come in and see how he is feeling tomorrow morning," Budenholzer said. "We'll take it from there. Right now, we don't know."

Millsap had his best game to date in an Atlanta Hawks uniform on Sunday finishing with 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals. He went 8-for-11 from the field and did an excellent job against Zach Randolph on the defensive end.

With the regular season just over a week away, it is unlikely that the Hawks take any chances with Millsap. The Hawks will wrap up their preseason schedule on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
