Johnson didn't play in Sunday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies but saw action primarily at the small forward position throughout the preseason. The move would leave Atlanta with 17 players on their training camp roster including three non-roster invites in Eric Dawson, Royal Ivey and Cartier Martin.
Martin was signed early last week and saw his first action in Sunday's game. He struggled finishing with just two points while going 1-for-12 from the field. Neither Ivey nor Dawson played on Sunday. The Hawks have not confirmed any roster moves as of yet.
Update - The Hawks have confirmed the AJC's report via team press release.
