The Atlanta Hawks continue to look depth at the wing position and have added free agent Cartier Martin to their preseason roster. Martin appeared in 41 games last season for the Washington Wizards where he averaged 6.6 points and 2.4 rebounds. He has spent parts of five seasons in the NBA playing in 161 career games for three different teams.
The move comes on the heels of the first roster cuts by the Hawks. Atlanta cut ties with Adonis Thomas, Damien Wilkins and David Lighty on Monday.
The Hawks haven't been satisfied with their depth at the wing position and Martin figures to compete with James Johnson for a potential spot on the roster.
