Atlanta Hawks guard John Jenkins won't travel with the Hawks to Biloxi on Saturday and will miss his third straight preseason game due to a back injury.
John Jenkins (lower back spasms) will not travel with #ATLHawks for exhibition vs. Pelicans.

Jenkins' injury originated during the offseason and was discovered after he returned from playing in the Vegas Summer League. He came to camp healthy but developed back spasms before the first preseason game. He continues to be listed as day-to-day.
Atlanta's injury situation practically guarantees that they will be using their final roster spot on one of the non-roster invitees. The Hawks currently have 14 players under contract but Lou Williams is still recovering from last season's ACL surgery and Gustavo Ayon is expected to miss the next 4-8 weeks with a shoulder injury.
