The Atlanta Hawks come into Cleveland riding a three-game losing streak and looking to recapture some of that early season success. The Hawks haven't really looked like the same team that got off to such a great start. They have dug themselves big holes early in two of their last three games and saw furious comebacks fall just short. On Saturday, Atlanta built a big first half lead but saw it disappear in the wake of being outscored 33-9 in the third quarter against the Boston Celtics.
Following the loss to the Celtics, the Hawks held a team meeting that head coach Larry Drew called productive. Yet they came out flat against the Timberwolves and dug just too big of a hole to overcome. Atlanta has split the season series with the Cavs losing at home 113-111 and winning in Cleveland 102-94.
The Hawks are hopeful to get back guard Devin Harris who has missed the last 11 games with a foot injury. Anthony Morrow was held out of Tuesday's game with back soreness and his status is uncertain for Wednesday's game. The Cavaliers will be without center Anderson Varejao who continues to battle a knee injury.
