The Atlanta Hawks are adding another big man prospect to their roster in Bucknell's Mike Muscala. The 6-11 center played four seasons with the Bison and averaged 18.9 points and 11.3 rebounds as a senior. He is 21 years old and has a nine foot standing reach and could be an interesting prospect.
The Hawks are getting Muscala in a deal that was just announced by the league that also included swapping the No. 18 pick for the No. 16 pick and with Atlanta acquiring Jared Cunningham from Dallas. The trade should be announced soon now that the 44th pick has been made.
Muscala is a good bet to be a part of the Hawks' summer league entry in Vegas. Will be interesting to see if he can stick with the team and could be a candidate to spend some time in the D-League next season if he is able to stick around on the team's final roster.
