Apparently the situation involving Ivan Johnson is over and forgotten. Michael Cunningham reports on Saturday that Johnson was at Hawks practice and that there would be no more discipline handed out to the 27-year old rookie. Johnson was reportedly sent home for having a verbal confrontation with his teammates during the loss to the Celtics. So apparently it had nothing to do with Johnson and any of the coaching staff.

Johnson's history is well documented which includes various suspensions and a ban from one league and many technical fouls along the way. For the most part, Johnson's tenure with the Hawks has been nothing but positives and hopefully this was an isolated incident. With Zaza Pachulia out of action for the next two games with a foot injury, Atlanta needs Johnson as much as it has all season. For his part Johnson acknowledged his mistake to MC and his desire to learn and move on.

"It's things I've got to learn in the league, how to channel my anger," he said. "It's still going good, it's just the heat of the moment, man. I'm so competitive in a game that you want to win, you don't want no mistakes to happen."
