NBA Trade Deadline 2012: Tracking And Discussion Thread

The NBA Trade Deadline has finally arrived and while it looks like the Atlanta Hawks might not be active before today's 3pm deadline rumors persist and the playoff races in the Eastern and Western Conferences could be altered depending on whether or not a player the caliber of Dwight Howard gets moved.

Consider this an open thread for discussion on rumors and completed deals. We will do our best to keep up with the action and will of course break in should the Hawks get involved in anything.

Completed Deals NBA Trade Deadline:

  • The Milwaukee Bucks trade Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson to the Golden State Warriors for Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh and Kwame Brown.
  • The Philadelphia 76ers acquire Sam Young from Memphis in exchange for the draft rights to Ricky Sanchez
  • The Toronto Raptors trade Leandro Barbosa and Anthony Carter to the Indiana Pacers for a second-round pick.
  • Dwight Howard officially waives his Early Termination Option and will remain under contract with the Magic through the 2012-12 season.
  • Gerald Wallace traded to the Nets for Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams and a protected 1st round pick, per Woj at Yahoo! Sports.
  • The Atlanta Hawks send a 2012 second-round pick to the Golden State Warriors for Cash Considerations.
  • The Cleveland Cavaliers trade Ramon Sessions, Chistian Eyenga and the right to swap draft position in 2013 with Miami's first-round pick for Luke Walton and the Lakers 2012 first-round pick.
  • The Portland Trail Blazers trade Marcus Camby to the Houston Rockets for Jonny Flynn, Hasheem Thabeet and a future second-round pick.
  • San Antonio Spurs trade Richard Jefferson and a 2012 first-round pick to the Golden State Warriors for Stephen Jackson.
  • The Houston Rockets trade Jordan Hill to the Los Angeles Lakers for Derek Fisher and a 2012 first-round pick.
  • In a three-team trade, the Denver Nuggets acquire JaVale McGee and Ronny Turiaf, the Washington Wizards acquire Nene, Brian Cook and a future second-round pick while the Clippers get Nick Young.
