Preview:
The Atlanta Hawks continue their road trip with a stop in Phoenix and will be looking to snap a two-game slide. Atlanta will also be trying to snap a four-game losing streak in the series against the Suns.
Atlanta lost a tough 86-78 contest to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night while shooting a season worst 34 percent. Phoenix was even worse on Tuesday as they hit just 33 percent of its attempts in a 109-92 loss to Denver. The Suns have now lost five of their last seven games at home.
In the first meeting between the two teams, Steve Nash scored 24 points and handed out 11 assists while leading the Suns to a 99-90 win at Philips Arena. The Suns beat up the Hawks on the boards in that loss and improvement there will be needed if the Hawks hope to salvage a split in the season series.
