Atlanta's four-game winning streak went down in a barrage of three-pointers by the Houston Rockets Monday night. The Rockets hit 16-29 from beyond-the-arc on their way to a 123-104 win. James Harden scored a game-high 28 points but it was Carlos Delfino's 22 off the bench including six threes that dealt the Hawks the most critical blow.

Atlanta took a 27-26 lead after one behind a strong start from Al Horford. Houston took control in the second outscoring the Hawks 38-19. Atlanta would battle back in the second half but the run usually ended with another Rockets' three-pointer. The Hawks were able to whittle the lead down to just five late in the fourth quarter before Delfino answered with a three and a break away layup that ended the rally.

Lou Williams led the way for the Hawks with 21 points on 9-16 shooting. It was the first loss for Atlanta with Williams in the starting lineup. Al Horford turned his good start into a solid night with 18 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. Josh Smith added 17 while rookie John Jenkins added a career-high 15 off the bench.

Harden's 28 came on 7-17 shooting and 12-13 from the free throw line. As a team the Rockets were 17-22 from the charity stripe while the Hawks were just 6-7. Delfino's 22 points came on 8-10 shooting including 6-8 from deep. Jeremy Lin added 16 points and eight assists while Omer Asik recorded a double-double 11 points and 17 rebounds.

Atlanta won't get much time to think about this loss as they are right back at it tomorrow night when they take on the New Orleans Hornets.
