Devin Harris sat out his fourth consecutive game on Wednesday with a foot injury and his status is in doubt for Friday's game against Cleveland. Harris didn't take part in the Hawks' practice on Thursday and Larry Drew indicated that he wasn't sure whether or not he would travel with the club for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.
Harris suffered the injury during the first half of Atlanta's win over the Wizards back on December 18. Harris got some shots up during yesterday's shootaround and was a game-time decision for last night's game against the Pistons. Atlanta has gone 2-2 without Harris in the lineup.
Harris has appeared in 20 games with the Hawks this season and has made 10 starts. He is averaging 7.7 points and 2.5 assists in about 23 minutes per game. Harris scored a season-high 20 points on December 13 against the Charlotte Bobcats.
Hawks coach Larry Drew will be faced with the decision on whether or not to return Harris to the starting lineup once he is healthy enough to return. Lou Williams has started each of the last two games for the Hawks after not starting a game since the 2009 season.
