The Atlanta Hawks took control early and were able to hold off a late charge by the Orlando Magic finishing with an 86-80 win. The Hawks wrap up their three-game road trip with a 2-1 record.

Atlanta jumped out to a 19-6 lead in the first quarter and held the Magic scoreless for nearly the first five minutes of the game. The Magic came back in the second quarter and cut the Hawks lead down to just six points before Atlanta finished the half with a 14-4 run to lead 46-34.

The second half was more of the same where the Hawks would push the lead out only to see the Magic whittle it back down into single digets. Atlanta never lost control and untimely turnovers along with missed opportunities eventually did in the Magic.

Teague hit 7-12 shots and added three assists and three steals. Al Horford turned in another double-double performance finishing with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Lou Williams added 11 off the bench while Devin Harris chipped in 10.

Arron Afflalo led Orlando with 16 points and was followed by J.J. Redick's 13 and Jameer Nelson's 12. Atlanta held the Magic to just 38 percent shooting and out rebounded them 43-39.

The Hawks are back in action tomorrow night at Philips Arena when they will take on the Charlotte Bobcats.
