DeShawn Stevenson sat out Saturday's win over the Memphis Grizzlies but he is back in Larry Drew's starting lineup for tonight's game against the Miami Heat.
Hawks starters: Teague, Harris, Stevenson, Smith, Horford #ATLHawks — Chris Vivlamore (@ajchawks) December 10, 2012
Stevenson will be needed to help bring some perimeter defense as the Hawks try to slow down LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Stevenson hit five threes and scored 15 points in his last outing against the Washington Wizards. Jeff Teague and Devin Harris will start in the backcourt while Al Horford and Josh Smith will join Stevenson in the front court.
The Heat will be missing one of their key players as Udonis Haslem will not be in uniform because he is suffering from the flu. Reshard Lewis is likely to replace him in the starting lineup. Haslem came off the bench for Miami for the first 16 games of the season but has started the past two games. He is averaging 3.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in just over 17 minutes of action per game.
