The Atlanta Hawks will be looking to extend their current winning streak to seven games Friday night when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers at Philips Arena. Atlanta's last loss came on November 14 against the Golden State Warriors and the Hawks have won seven straight in the series with the Cavs.

Cleveland has struggled without injured point guard Kyrie Irving who is out with a fractured finger. The Cavs have lost four straight and are 4-12 on the season.

Atlanta's streak has them at 9-4 and just 1.5 games behind the Miami Heat for 1st place in the Southeast Division. The Hawks hung on to defeat Charlotte 94-91 on Wednesday despite a 20 point explosion from Ben Gordon in the 4th quarter. Josh Smith and Al Horford scored 17 points each against the Bobcats and combined for 24 rebounds and 12 assists.

The Hawks could be without one of its key players Friday night after Kyle Korver left Wednesday's game with back spasms. Korver didn't practice on Thursday and is officially listed as day-to-day. Anthony Morrow left Thursday's practice with a thigh contusion and could be a game-time decision against the Cavaliers.
