Bobcats vs. Hawks score: Charlotte leads Atlanta 45-43 at halftime

The Atlanta Hawks enter halftime trailing the Charlotte Bobcats 45-43. The Hawks got off to a quick start bombing away from the outside but cooled as the half wore on. Charlotte built a 26-19 advantage on the boards and helped force the Hawks into settling for jump shots. Atlanta hit 8-17 three point attempts in the first half but need to work the ball into the paint to further open up things from the perimeter.

Lou Williams leads the way for the Hawks with 10 points off the bench. Al Horford, Jeff Teague and Anthony Morrow each have six. Josh Smith shot 2-7 in the first half for four points but does have six rebounds and three assists.

Ramon Sessions leads all scorers with 11 points off the bench for the Bobcats. Kemba Walker has nine points while Byron Mullens finished the half with nine points and six rebounds.

Atlanta hit 41 percent of its shots in the first half but only attempted two free throws in the first 24 minutes.
