The Atlanta Hawks hope to avoid a let down Wednesday night when they take on the Washington Wizards who are still looking for their first win of the season. The Hawks are 5-4 this season and have won two straight including Monday's 81-72 win over the Orlando Magic. Atlanta has had a lot of recent success against the Wizards taking 15 of the last 16 meetings.
Washington's struggles start with injured point guard John Wall who remains out after knee surgery. The Wizards have also been without Nene the entire season but he is listed at questionable for Wednesday's game and reports indicate that he could make his season debut. Trevor Booker suffered a knee injury on Monday and he is also questionable for tonight's game.
Atlanta comes into the game relatively healthy after battling a stomach virus for much of the team's western road trip. The latest victim was DeShawn Stevenson played just under 12 minutes against the Magic on Monday and went scoreless missing all three of his shot attempts.
