The Hawks returned to the Philips Arean practice court on Monday but backed off the physical activity after Sunday's exhibition win over the Heat. The team spent a lot of time watching the film of Sunday's game.
Anthony Tolliver was hit in the face during the fourth quarter against the Heat and suffered a scratched cornea. Tolliver played just under 15 minutes on Sunday and finished with six points and two rebounds.
DeShawn Stevenson also did not take part in the non-contact drills on Monday after waking up a little sore following Sunday's game. Devin Harris and Zaza Pachulia both participated in the non-contact portions of practice. No word yet on whether or not Harris or Pachulia will be making the trip to San Antonio. Drew said on Sunday that he expected both would play at some point this preseason.
After riding the pine during Sunday's exhibition opener, it looks like rookies John Jenkins and Mike Scott will make their debuts on Wednesday against the Spurs. Drew told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore on Monday that he definitely plans for both rookies to get in the game on Wednesday.
