Video: Anthony Morrow happy to be back in Atlanta

Hawks shooting guard Anthony Morrow is happy to be back in his hometown and playing for the Hawks.

Anthony Morrow's story is very similar to that of Lou Williams in that this season is a homecoming of sorts. Morrow is from Atlanta and played for Georgia Tech in college. He like many of his teammates is in the final year of his contract and expressed a desire to remain in Atlanta longterm.

Morrow has been a double figures scorer in each of his four seasons in the league. He appeared in 62 games last season, mostly off the bench, for the Nets while averaging 12 points per game. Morrow hit 41 percent of his shots last season and shot a career-low 37 percent from three-point range. For his career, Morrow has made 43 percent of his attempts from beyond-the-arc.

During media day Morrow talked about the team needing to gel quickly but was thankful for a full training camp rather than the abbreviated version that teams had to deal with last season due to the lockout.
