The Atlanta Hawks continue their preseason road trip Sunday evening in Memphis with a matchup against the Grizzles. Atlanta is currently 1-1 this preseason having most recently suffered a 101-99 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Larry Drew wasn't pleased with the team's defensive effort against the Spurs and that has been the focus of practice for the rest of the week.
"We've got a lot of things that we need to put in but there were a lot of things that we didn't do a good job of in San Antonio," Drew said. "These last couple days we spent a lot of time watching film and coming out on the court and working on it. I want it to have a carry-over effect in our next game."
So far Drew has juggled his starting lineup in each of the first two preseason games and acknowledged that he would probably do the same against the Grizzlies.
Sunday's game could be the first preseason action for both Devin Harris and Zaza Pachulia who sat out the first two games with minor injuries. DeShawn Stevenson didn't play against the Spurs and was limited in practice the rest of the week with a sore knee. He seems doubtful to play on Sunday.
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 14, 6 p.m. ET
