Atanta Dream 87, New York Liberty 81
Atlanta won for the third time this season behind strong performances from Erika de Souza (27pts, 15 reb) and Lindsey Harding (25 pts). The Dream trailed by as many as 13 points early before mounting the comeback behind a solid defensive effort. Harding helped put the game away down the stretch scoring nine of Atlanta's last 11 points in the game.
Sancho Lyttle Returns, Kelly Mazzante waived.
Atlanta announced on Sunday that All-Star forward Sancho Lyttle had returned to the team after missing the last six games while playing with the Spanish National Team. Lyttle is expected to return to action as soon as Atlanta's medical staff has cleared her for competition. She is averaging 12.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game this season for the Dream. Allison Bales has been starting in Lyttle's absence.
To make room for Lyttle on the roste, Atlanta waived reserve guard Kelly Mazzante. She was originally signed by the Dream with the hope that she could provide some long distance shooting to the Atlanta lineup. However, Mazzante was just 1-12 on three point attempts in very limited playing time.
