Hawks beat writer Michael Cunningham reports that Al Horford is expected to return to the Hawks lineup tonight after missing one game due to an injured back suffered on his game winning drive against Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers.
"I think I should be OK for the game," Horford said after participating in shootaround this morning. "I think as long as I go out there and feel OK and I feel right, I think you can play through some pain. I’m actually encouraged [because the play] looked really bad. But fortunately it is not nothing serious on my back or anything."
Horford missed Saturday's game against Washington and did not practice on Monday. However, everything looks like he will be cleared to return to the lineup tonight against the Sixers. If Horford is able to suit up and play, then Atlanta should have every player on its roster healthy and available for coach Drew.
