Are there any baller's in the Peachtree Hoops blogosphere? If so then here is your opportunity to chase a dream. The Utah Flash of the NBA's Development League will be hosting a try out on September 11th at Clayton State University.
Quoting the original press release:
"The open tryout is a great way for us to discover untapped talent," said coach Kevin Young. "We have had great success in the past with open tryouts, and each year we’ve added at least one player from the tryout to our team. I have no doubt this year will be the same."
During tryouts, players will take part in shooting drills, individual assessments and scrimmages. Prospects will be observed by the Utah Flash basketball operations staff.
Selected players participating in the workouts may be invited to the Flash training camp this fall and compete for a roster spot for the upcoming season.
Interested players should submit completed registration, disclosure, and release forms along with a $150 non-refundable participation fee to the Flash office. Late registration is $175 for all forms received after Monday, September 6th at 5p.m. Tryouts are limited to the first 100 applicants who submit completed registration forms and payment.
