Marvin Williams will not make the trip to Minnesota after suffering a knee injury in last night's game against the Detroit Pistons. He is currently scheduled to be reevaluated this afternoon by the Hawks medical staff. Mo Evans is also out and will not make the trip. That means the Hawks will be without their two primary players at small forward on Friday night. Joe Johnson can play small forward and has done so in a back up role since Evans has been out. Josh Smith finished the game last night in the three spot.
Jamal Crawford sat out last night's game with turf toe. He will be making the trip to Minnesota but his playing status won't be determined until game time.
After being one of the healthiest clubs in the league last season, the Hawks have been bit by the injury bug early. We will update Marvin's status as soon as more info becomes available.
Thanks to Hawks PR for the release
