Game Preview:
John Wall returned from injury to score 25 points off the bench to lead the Wizards over the 76ers on Tuesday. This is the second meeting of the year between the Hawks and the Wizards. The Hawks defeated the Wizards 99-95 in their home opener earlier this season. Much has changed for this Hawks team since starting the season with a six game winning streak. The Hawks have only won two of their past nine games and their record is now 8-7.
Keys to the Game
Getting off to a good start is paramount. The Hawks got down early against New Jersey and then spent the entire night playing catch up. They looked like a tight team that was pressing, perhaps second guessing everything that they did against the Nets. That is not a recipe for a winning club. The usual things like rebounding and limiting turnovers go here as well but mostly the Hawks need a solid team defensive effort in this one.
