The Atlanta Hawks Announce TV Schedule for the Upcoming Season

Good news for local Hawks fans that for the second season in a row all 82 of the Hawks regular season games will be broadcast regionally or on one of the NBA's National Affiliates. For the first time ever all of the broadcasts will be available in High Definition.

75 of the games will be televised between SportSouth and Fox Sports South with SportSouth becoming the new regional home of the Hawks garnering 74 of the broadcasts. The lone contest on Fox Sport South will take place on March 4th when the Hawks host the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The other seven games will be televised on either ESPN or TNT. NBATV will also pick up SportSouth's broadcast on seven occasions.

In addition to the Hawks Live post game show that follows every broadcast, SportSouth will also televise a 30 minute pre-game version of Hawks Live before every game. Vince Cellini and Mike Glenn will be the hosts for Hawks Live. Bob Rathburn and Dominique Wilkins return to do play by play along with Jerome Jerenovich stepping in to the sideline reporter's role.

Many thanks to Hawks PR department for the release.

Don't forget that the Hawks radio broadcasts are moving to 99X FM (97.9) this season. They do also have a web feed. Games are also available on XM radio and through NBA.com Audio League Pass which is also free but does require that you register with the site.

Special thanks to Hawks Radio Voice Steve Holman for the radio info.
