72 reasons to be excited about the Atlanta Hawks: #71 Marvin's Mustache

The Human Highlight blog did not bring Marvin Williams' mustache to my attention, the facial hair choice has excited my senses from the moment I laid eyes on him, but they did make me keenly aware that this grooming choice has an aura about it that leaves some breathless, most excited, and everyone interested.

The Marvin's mustache may single handedly cause his entire value as a player to be underrated. I have a daily reminder in my planner that lets me know Marvin is still only 23. When he hurt his back, I was ready to call it quits for him. After all, only 35 year olds have that kind of mustache and a 35 year old with a hurt back is a goner in the NBA. Thank goodness for my daily planner reminder or I may have had a panic attack.

When Marvin shaved his hair into a mohawk, I honestly thought he was going to kill a man on the court. That is what happens if only, for a brief second, the mustache is overshadowed. Marvin turns into a bad, bad man.

Without the mustache, Marvin may have asked for 55 million dollars in his contract extension. He would go for 25 a game. He would have actually meant to hurt Rajon Rondo in that playoff game.

The mustache is a living legend. It is a sight to behold. But I would be willing to find another reason to be excited if Marvin decided to go for a younger, more aggressive aura this season.
