Predicted bane of the Hawks existence: LBJ

Game Preview:

The Hawks have three things going for them. The Cavs have some key injuries, the Hawks are playing well, and the Cavs have won seven straight. And we all know the Hawks dislike hate other team's winning streaks.

Unfortunately, the Cavs don't care. They have LeBron James, and LeBron apparently hates losing at home just about more than any other NBA player hates anything. This is the first major, and I do mean major test, without Marvin. Mo Evans can not quietly score 8 points and grab two rebounds while playing team defense. Mr. James goes for 47 points and 9 assists against average team defense. What I am trying to say is this is a tough first test in the "lets see if we can take this show on the road" idea. But I think the team is going into the game thinking they are going to win. Which is pretty unbelievable.

Keys to the game:

  1. Don't let LeBron get a triple double. Ridiculous but real.
  2. Contest Mo Williams' three pointers.
  3. Continually remind Joe how much larger he is than Delonte West.
  4. Pound the ball inside. Their front line is very thin.

Head to the comments if you would like. I hear they are one part dangerous, one part exhilaratingly.

Go Hawks!
