WHO: Atlanta (30-21) at Detroit (27-23)
WHERE: Sports South, Hawks Radio Network, NBA Audio League Pass
Hawks Injury Report: I am assume the training staff will check Mike Bibby before they just throw him out blindly for the second leg of a back to back.
Pistons Injury Report: Allen Iverson was out last night with the flu. He is a game time decision. So is Rodney Stuckey (ht Hoopinion)
Blogging With the Enemy: Detroit Bad Boys, Need 4 Sheed
Predicted bane of the Hawks existence: A toss up between Rasheed Wallace and Rodney Stuckey annnnnd tails. Rodney Stuckey it is.
Game Preview: The Hawks have a chance to extend their lead over the fourth seed to three and half games with a win tonight against a very tired Detroit Pistons team. Regardless of the coaching, injuries, and streaky play, I would have taken that place in the standings before the season started and been saved from about 82 blog posts
So the question becomes is the very veteran Detroit planning on leaving it all out on the court playing their fourth game in five nights knowing a break is coming or are they already packed up for weekend and are they already six hours into a four day drinking fiesta.
A quick start by the Hawks knowing they have the young legs coming off an easy win last night could make the decision very easy for Pistons. (For entertainment purposes, here's to hoping Rasheed is a talkative drunk.)
My arbitrary key to the game. Who gets frustrated with the officials first Josh Smith or Rashed Wallace. I think the person who does not answer this question will have a big game.
See you in the comments from Taco Mac.
Go Hawks!
