The Atlanta Hawks sign first-rounder John Jenkins. Jenkins, the 23rd overall selection from Vanderbilt, led the Southeastern Conference in scoring the last two years, averaging 19.9 points per game last season for the Commodores.
im curious, and first month is bound to be their best trying to impress us.....with free returns, why not? anyone else willing? have any thoughts?
Hawks have spoken to Danny Ferry about becoming their new GM, sources say. Rick Sund's contract up 6/30 & he could be consultant or leave...

Could be a sign that Sund is ready to step down as full-time GM.
No Lebron hate....just excellent thoughts even Hawks fans can appreciate.
Great article from the AJC's Michael Cunningham on the steep odds against a team like Atlanta winning a title using the "Detroit model" of roster construction that doesn't include an elite player.
Josh Childress played 491 minutes this season with the Phoenix Suns and finished 0-2 from the free throw line. That surpasses the record set by Luke Walton also this season and Dominic Maguire in 2010
Probably the greatest or the worse flops of all-time.
