According to a report by ESPN.com's Marc Stein, Atlanta Hawks assistant coach Quin Snyder has emerged as a candidate to replace Tyrone Corbin as the head coach of the Utah Jazz.

Snyder is in his first year as an assistant in Atlanta under head coach Mike Budenholzer whom he worked with in San Antonio. Not coincidentally Utah GM Dennis Lindsey also worked in San Antonio and has been rumored to be interested in Euroleague legend Ettore Messina. Snyder spent a year in Messina's bench at CSKA Moscow.
Atlanta has assembled a talented young coaching staff and it's quite possible that this won't be the only time we hear one of them mentioned as being a candidate for another job. Snyder has the most recognizable name but fellow assistant Kenny Atkinson had his name come up in conjunction with the Philadelphia 76ers last offseason.
