Mike Budenholzer and Frank Vogel met with the media prior to Tuesday night's Game 2 matchup between the Indiana Pacers and the Atlanta Hawks. Vogel was up first and said that he would go with his normal starting lineup of George Hill, Lance Stephenson, Paul George, David West and Roy Hibbert and declined to discuss any potential rotation changes.
There has been much talk of adjustments for Indiana but Vogel wasn't forthcoming with the media. Vogel was asked about the possibility of mixing in zone coverages, and matchup changes such as George guarding Hawks point guard Jeff Teague. Vogel replied to those questions with "we'll see. and that they would like to keep Hibbert closer to the basket on the defensive end.
For the Hawks nothing had changed since shootaround or really since the win in Game 1. Atlanta will stick with the same starting lineup and once again look to space the floor and operate out of the pick and roll.
Mike Budenholzer did comment on his old boss Gregg Popovich being named NBA Coach of the Year earlier today.
"I'm a little biased, I think he's Coach of the Year every year." - Coach Bud on Pop's COY award.
