Hawks vs Pacers: Indiana mulling changes in advance of Game 2

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers are mulling changes in advance of their Game 2 matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.

After being torched by Jeff Teague in two straight matchups, the Indiana Pacers are considering changes when they take the floor for Game 2 on Tuesday night. A report by the Associated Press on Sunday states that the Pacers are considering having Paul George guard Teague at some point in Game 2.

George said he and coach Frank Vogel discussed the defensive assignment Sunday, though Vogel declined to confirm the move or any other changes he might make now that the top-seeded Pacers trail Atlanta 1-0 in the first-round series.

George told reporters that he is up for the challenge and wouldn't mind guarding Teague to "give him another look."

''I would love to, just to change it up a little bit and give him a different look,''

If George switches over to Teague then that will force George Hill or C.J. Watson to guard either Kyle Korver or DeMarre Carroll. George primarily shadowed Korver in Game 1 and helped harass him into a 5-of-12 shooting night including 2-of-7 from three-point range.
