Kyle Korver will miss his second straight game on Sunday due to an ongoing back issue according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Korver missed Friday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans after his back flared up in pregame warmups.
According to the AJC, Korver won't travel with the team to Toronto for Sunday's game. Shelvin Mack started in his place on Friday and Lou Williams returned to the rotation as a back up. The Hawks are back at home on Monday and will take on the Phoenix Suns. Korver is considered as day-to-day and there is no timetable for his return.
Korver has appeared in 62 games for the Hawks this season and is leading the lead in three-point shooting percentage at 48.6 percent. His 12.3 points per game average is the second highest mark of his career.
Atlanta struggled from long range without Korver on Friday going just 8-28 in a 111-105 loss to the Pelicans.
