Horford joins other NBA stars in the fight to stop the sales of ivory products.

Al Horford has teamed up with Pau Gasol, Tyson Chandler, Serge Ibaka, Thabo Sefolosha and Joakim Noah in the "No Hype" campaign. "No Hype," a collaboration between NBA Cares and WildAid, is a campaign aimed at reducing the demand for ivory and rhinoceros horn products. Check out the campaign video below:

Horford said before Thursday's win over the Bucks that he felt inspired to join the cause after going on a safari in South Africa with Basketball Without Borders last summer.

"That was a life changing experience for me. We got a chance to go out on a safari, and being out there a week, it just changes your life. It's probably the best trip I've done, and being there that close to nature and getting to talk to a lot of locals, and seeing all the problems they're having with poaching and stuff like that. When the NBA brought it to me, I was very passionate about it. I said, 'Yeah, I wanna do something about it. I wanna create awareness about that.' "

Al and Ibaka talk about it more in this behind the scenes video:
