Three more college players work out with Hawks

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks have held workouts with three more college players, starting with Mercer's Langston Hall, the point guard and Atlanta native who led the Bears to their incredible victory over Duke in this year's NCAA tournament (excuse my excited bias as a student and fan!). Hall, probably the second best athlete in the Atlantic Sun conference behind USC Upstate's Torrey Craig, averaged 15.4 points this season while leading the Bears to the A-Sun regular and postseason championships.

The Hawks also saw starting guard Nick Johnson of Arizona and point guard Billy Baron of Canisius.

Draft Express currently has the 6-foot-3 Johnson as #52 on their draft board. He averaged 16.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in his junior year with the Wildcats. Here's his interview with Draft Express from the NBA Draft Combine:

Baron, 6'2", averaged 24.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in his senior year while shooting 46.4%. Draft Express has him listed as the 46th best senior in the draft.
