Granted the roster is not 100 percent finalized, but it is becoming pretty clear. Now the burning question is going to start rising... Who is the starting 5? As of right now... here is the roster.
Now... Muscala is unsigned, Bebe could be on his way back to Spain, nobody knows at this point. I think we should sign Mike Scott, who has proven he can space the floor with his jumpshot. Although his athleticism is not good, he is a good guy to have around for bench minutes. And now.... with this roster above, here is my starting five.
1. Jeff Teague
2. John Jenkins?
3. Kyle Korver
4. Paul Millsap
5. Al Horford
This lineup gives us awesome spacing with Al and Paul both being able to hit the mid range shot, which is gonna allow penetrate and kick to open shooters and plenty of room to move without the ball. The only problem really is Jenkins starting 2. Its been said Lou will come of the bench as a 6th man... So does that leave Jenkins as a starter? It is all i can really think of. He is not a bad player, but his jump shot is not that consistent and in my mind is not a NBA starter just yet.
I am going to leave this post with a poll as to who you think should start at the two guard this season. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and please comment your opinions on this topic. GO HAWKS!
