Atlanta Hawks second-round pick Mike Scott helped the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League to a 117-108 win over the Texas Legends. Scott finished with a double-double, 22 points and 12 rebounds which was his third consecutive 20-10 game. Scott hit 9-20 shots and is now averaging 18.1 points and 8.6 rebounds in seven games with the Jam.
The Hawks were off on Tuesday and haven't made any announcements but there is a good chance that Scott could be on his way back to Atlanta given the injury concerns that Larry Drew and company are facing at the moment. Atlanta played with just 10 healthy bodies in Monday's finale to a six-game road trip.
Bakersfield currently holds the best record in the D-League and won't play again until Saturday when they travel to Pennsylvania to take on the Erie Bayhawks.
We will be sure to update when there is an official word on Scott.
