The Atlanta Hawks have recalled shooting guard John Jenkins from the Bakersfield Jam after a four-game stint in the D-League per a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Jenkins appeared in four games with the Jam 21.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He shot 42 percent from the field but just 22 percent from three-point range. Jenkins was able to get a decent amount of run in averaging over 36 minutes per contest.
Last night for the Jam Jenkins finished with a team-high 18 points on 6-18 shooting in a loss against the Santa Cruz Warriors. He returns to Atlanta and should be in uniform tonight due to the injury to center Gustavo Ayon.
