The Atlanta Hawks hit the road on Tuesday when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves for the first time this season.
The Atlanta Hawks won't have to worry about Kevin Love Tuesday night when they travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves. Love is out indefinitely with a broken hand but Minnesota could be getting back Ricky Rubio who has been out with a back injury. Rubio practiced Monday and is listed as probable for Tuesday's game. The Timberwolves could also be without center Nikola Pekovic who didn't practice on Monday with a hip injury.
The injury news is much better for the Hawks who could be getting back a couple of players. Both Devin Harris and Anthony Morrow participated in Monday's workout and could return to the Hawks' rotation on Tuesday night.
Atlanta is on a two-game losing skid after a painful loss against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. The Hawks held what was called a "productive" team meeting on Sunday and are looking to bounce back after blowing a 19 point lead and being outscored 33-9 in the third quarter against the Celtics.
Game Date/Time: Tuesday, January 8, 8 p.m. ET
Location: Target Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota
TV: SportSouth
Radio: 680 The Fan, 93.7 FM
