The Atlanta Hawks have a couple of home games this week as they will take on the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday and wrap up this week's schedule on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls.
The schedule lightens this week for the Atlanta Hawks with just two home games on the docket along with plenty of off days. Atlanta enjoyed a day off on Monday and won't return to action until Wednesday when they take on the Toronto Raptors. The Hawks are off on Thursday and Friday before the Chicago Bulls come calling on Saturday.
Atlanta begins the week in sixth place and 4.5 games behind first place Miami. They will take on the Raptors for the first of three meetings this season. Toronto has dropped two straight including a 114-102 home loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
Saturday's game will be the last of three meetings with the Bulls this season. Atlanta took the first matchup 92-75 at Philips Arena but was obliterated 97-58 at the United Center in the second.
Milestone watch:
- Kyle Korver has made a three in a career-best 38 straight games. The Hawks record is 42 games by Mookie Blaylock.
- Josh Smith needs nine rebounds to pass Cliff Hagan and move into seventh place on the Hawks' career list for total rebounds.
