For a while it looked like the Hawks might get Anthony Morrow back before Devin Harris. However, Morrow missed his ninth straight game Saturday against the Wizards and has not begun working out yet.
Originally Morrow injured his hip back on November 28 in Cleveland. He missed five games with that injury before being cleared to return to full contact practice. It was thought that he might be able to return for Atlanta's trip to Minnesota on January 8. He has missed the last four games with a back injury. Morrow continues to receive treatmentand eyes a return to the court:
"I just want to get out there and help the team and play, obviously," Morrow said. "At the same time, I know my body. I've had the worst part of this injury before. It's nowhere near that worst part now but I know if I don't rest and let it heal all the way it's going to continue to bother me."
Morrow is averaging 5.5 points in 22 games for the Hawks this season while shooting 44 percent from the field.
